SOBIESKI FAMILY PHOTOS

Showing appreciation for those who came before us.

The Sobieski side of the family starts with the HMS City of London, which carried immigrants from Europe to Ellis Island from 1870.
On board Dec, 1870, was Anton Sobieski (32), his wife Justina (33) and their son Adolph (9) and daughter Maria (6). Eleven years later, the ship was lost at sea with another load of immigrants (whew!).
